I’ve been a parent at St John’s School since 2019 and I became a governor in 2025, with two children currently attending the school and a third starting in September 2026.

I strongly believe in the values and quality of education at St John’s School, and I’m eager to contribute to upholding and furthering those standards. I am passionate about inclusion and fairness, whilst believing that children should be given opportunities to thrive in their strengths, whether academic, athletic or creative.

By background I am a family law barrister and have represented parents and children in that capacity for fifteen years, having previously also been at the Criminal Bar. I’ve also acted as a private judge. I now focus more on mediating deals on separation and divorce. I’m very familiar with safeguarding processes and legal frameworks relating to children. I have a strong family connection to the education system. This background has given me a good insight into the challenges facing parents and schools.

In my personal time, I love to spend time with my family, time outdoors, playing sport, cooking, and enjoying travel and other adventures.
