Performance & Results 2022
The Impact of Covid
Despite the disruption that schools have faced over the last two years, the results for children at St John's remain significantly higher than National Average. These are the most recent set of results.
At the end of each Key Stage, the Infant and the Junior children participate in national tests. These are called SATS, Statutory Assessment Tests. The results of these are published along with National results.
Summary
The results for our year 6 pupils show that we are above the National Average in all three core subjects, reading, writing and maths. We are also above the National for the combined score of reading, writing and maths.
We are pleased that we have a significant number of children that achieve a ‘high standard’ across the core subjects. In reading we were above the national average and in writing we had more than double the number of children achieving ‘a high standard.’ We were also above the National benchmark in maths for achieving a ‘high standard’ in maths.
