Uniform

We are very proud at St John’s of our formal and smart uniform and we acknowledge parental support of this policy when parents decide to send their children to the school.

Winter uniform (October half term to Easter)

• Plain white shirt, long or short sleeved, buttoned with a St John’s School tie 
• Grey skirt or Pinafore (St John’s mid-grey), knee length (short skirts/pinafores are not permitted) or tailored trousers (St John’s mid-grey)
• Cardigan or pullover – St John’s red or St John’s mid-grey with school badge.
• White or grey socks or grey tights.
• Black shoes (high heels, trainers and open sandals are not permitted for school.)

Summer uniform (Easter to October half term)

• Plain white shirt, long or short sleeved, buttoned with a St John’s School tie 
• Grey skirt or Pinafore (St John’s mid-grey), knee length (short skirts/pinafores are not permitted) or grey school trousers or grey tailored knee length shorts.
• Cardigan or pullover – St John’s red or St John’s mid-grey with school badge.
• White, grey or grey/red striped socks or grey tights.
• Black shoes (high heels, trainers and open sandals are not permitted for school.)

OR

• red gingham checked dress.
• St John’s red or St John’s grey cardigan with badge.
• White socks.
• Black shoes (high heels, trainers and open sandals are not permitted for school.)

PE Kit

• Black shorts and house colour polo shirt with black plimsolls.
• Red sweatshirts with St John’s logo.
• Black or red jogging bottoms.

Notes:

All knitwear must have the school logo on.
Trousers and shorts must be tailored.
Grey is specified as St John’s grey (mid grey.)
Red is specified as St John’s redAll knitwear must have school logo on.
Pupils will be allowed to wear shorts in the Winter if they really wish.
