Performance and Results 2023
The Impact of Covid
Despite the disruption that schools have faced over the last three years, the results for children at St John's remain significantly higher than National Average apart from in Reading. We have analysed our results and identified areas to improve as we do in every year.
At the end of each Key Stage, the Infant and the Junior children participate in national tests. These are called SATS, Statutory Assessment Tests. The results of these are published along with National results.
Summary
The results for our year 6 pupils show that we are above the National Average in all three core subjects, reading, writing and maths. We are also above the National for the combined score of reading, writing and maths.
We are pleased that we have a significant number of children that achieve a ‘high standard’ across the core subjects.
