The Nurture Programme Spring 2026

Twice a year Karen Bowden, our Family Support Worker runs a Nurture Programme for parents. This has been highly praised by St John's parents in the past. They said not only was it helpful in understanding the needs of their children and how to respond to them but it also enabled them to develop relationships with other families from across the Trust.

During the sessions Karen deals with the various issues that parents face, giving advice and strategies that are supportive for both the parent and the child.  It is a tried and tested programme that supports all parents in what is becoming an increasingly challenging role in 2026.

The FREE programme is open to all parents of children who attend a school within our trust and is an opportunity to meet other parents and make new friendships.

The sessions will take place at The Bloom Room in Alderton Junior School (Alderton Hall Lane, Loughton, IG10 3HE.) It is a 9 week programme and begins on Friday 6th March 2026 9.30am - 11.30am.
