Year 4 Museum of London Trip
In December Year 4 Went to the Museum of London as part of our work on Victorians.
Walking down to the tube in Buckhurst Hill (the trains and Underground railway of course being Victorian inventions) we got the train to St Paul's station.
Once at the Museum children explored Victorian streets looking at the features of Victorian houses and shops of the time. As the day progressed we got the chance to meet Charles Dickens who spent time reading some of his most famous works to us.
After lunch there was a little time left to eat our lunch, explore the gift shop, then get on the train back home.
Thanks to the excellent attitude of the children and the generous volunteers the day was a real success.
