Year 1 Visit to Mountfitchet Castle

The children had a fantastic day at Mountfitchet castle on Wednesday 21^st March and were very excited to explore the site. They were able to experience what life was like in a Norman village, exploring the different buildings and learning about the different skills and jobs the villagers had. They especially enjoyed working the giant catapult and firing water missiles and trying out the stocks!
