Year 1 Guy Fawkes Drama

Year 1 had a visit from a member of The Freshwater Theatre Company on Friday 4^th November, who told the children the story of the gunpowder plot. The children enjoyed acting out the various scenes and finding out about the people involved in the plot to blow up James I at the Houses of Parliament in November 1605. The children took part in a quiz at the end of the drama session and could answer the main facts about Guy Fawkes and his plan.
