Harvest Festival 2016

Our harvest festival took place on Thursday 29 th October. Thank you to pupils from Class 5M who gave a presentation on the theme of gifts from God and sharing. Rev. Sarah Guinness gave a talk outlining a brief history of the festival and the importance of the gifts of shelter, food and water, with a very good visual effect of water pouring into the baptism pool. The children were reminded to be mindful of those who do not have homes, food or fresh water. Thank you to all those who contributed to our harvest collection, which will be distributed by the Loughton foodbank.
