Girls enjoy cricket success!

The girls' cricket team travelled to South Loughton Cricket Club today to enjoy a day of fun filled cricket.  The sun shone as they took to the pitches, a little unsure of how the day would pan out as they had not played much cricket before.  They soon worked out the tactics of the game, and with their skill at batting and bowling took the first three matches without loss.  After a break for lunch they took to the pitch again for the second round playing for a top four finish.  Keeping the momentum of the morning going the team shone once again, and finished the day unbeaten, to win the competition.  They will now travel to Billericay Cricket Club, to represent West Essex in the county finals, later in the month.
