Year 5 had a fantastic day out exploring West Stow Anglo-Saxon village. We explored various artifacts found at the site in their stunning museum, listened to live music played on a replica stringed instrument and investigated what life might be like by looking at the village layout and set up. The children learnt about experimental architecture and how this helps historians envisage how they lived.
