Friday Round Up 17/3/17

Dear Parents,

Summer Term School Visits

We are currently in the final stages of organising our educational visits for the summer term and are slightly dismayed at the rising cost of coach travel. As you are aware from previous correspondence our aim is to organise as many visits and visitors each term for less than £20. Next term, in some year groups, we may slightly exceed this amount because of this extra cost and your understanding is really appreciated.

Headlice

Just to remind you that this Friday/Weekend is Head Lice day where we are asking all parents to check their child for headlice and treat them accordingly. Hopefully this should reduce the number of cases we have been experiencing in school recently.

Easter Hat/Easter Photograph Competition

As Easter approaches we are holding an Easter Competition. We are inviting the children in Reception and KS1 to design an Easter hat. The children in KS2 children may either design a hat or take a Spring photograph for an Easter display. There will be a prize for the most creative hat and photograph. Please bring the entries to school by Monday 27th March. We looking forward to seeing the entries. Sporting Success Congratulations once again to our Indoor Athletics Team who once again have won the Essex County Council Sportshall Athletics Competition 2017.
