Cairine Hart

From Scotland originally, I came to London for my first job after university and stayed.   I have lived in this area for over 25 years, firstly in Loughton where our two boys grew up and went to school, and for the past 10 years in Buckhurst Hill, where I am a member of St John’s Church.      

After working in Human Resources in the public sector and central government, I moved into HR roles in education and children’s charities.  These included City & Guilds and Barnardo’s, as well as the Diocese of Southwark, where part of my remit was to provide HR support to the governing bodies and leadership teams of church schools.  

As a volunteer I helped to lead the children’s work at a previous church and was a trustee of Epping Forest Youth for Christ. Currently I volunteer at the St John’s Church pre-school group which meets in the church hall.
