Cross Country Essex County Final - Individual Race - 25th April 2017

After qualifying 1st in her year 6 West Essex Schools' Partnership competition, Kezia Beeton came a superb third in the Essex Schools Cross Country Final. It was not an easy race - apart from the distance, the steep ascents and descents, she was running against 29 winners. Kezia qualified for the race by coming first at the Annual Partnership Cross Country Competition on Friday 3rd February 2017 and in today's race she ran against 29 Year 6 girls, who had also come first in their region's qualifying race. Kezia ran extremely well and demonstrated skill in judging her speed and stamina in maintaining her pace. She made it look easy, but the fact that she left most of the field well behind her showed that this was the result of a great deal of training and dedication to running. To come third out of all the Year 6 girls in Essex is an amazing achievement. Well done Kezia and good luck in all your future races.
